Commencing the New Year

Hi everyone,

My name is Tanya and I am studying Bachelor of Education Secondary at Central Queensland University (CQU) minoring in Biology and Home Economic.

As part of the core units of education, I am undertaking the EDSE12024 Digital Pedagogies unit.

This blog is documenting my learning throughout this unit. Some assessable items and some personal reflection pieces will be posted. I will be peer reviewed along the way and provided with support and encouragement from those peers.

I look forward to learning about ICT and how to utilise this with the intension of allowing students to grow their knowledge and depth of understanding. 

There is a new future ahead, where ICT will be key to education the new generation of children. It is up to the older generations (me, a pre-service teacher and my fellow teachers) to learn and integrate technology into the classroom. The future is not set, but ever changing and we need to equip our students with the ability to be resilient and adaptable in their new world.
